Southern Pride of WNC was founded with one goal in mind: to build homes of quality workmanship while providing the level of customer service, honesty and integrity you expect from a homebuilder.
With a background of over thirty years in manufacturing and corporate management, President, Bob Scheiderich is an experienced business manager who keeps the wheels at Southern Pride turning smoothly. He will guide you through every step of the building process and the purchase of your home and also work closely with the local planning boards and city engineers to ensure that your home and property meet or exceed all the requirements of local building codes whether you build in one of our developments or on your own lot.
The staff at Southern Pride strives to make the building process a pleasurable one for their clients and is invaluable in helping the homeowner navigate through the selection process. Our customers needs and desires are an integral part of all phases of construction.

Southern Pride believes strongly in giving back to the community. Bob serves on both the advisory board and the development board of Catholic Social Services and has provided time, materials and know-how for their building renovations. He is also a founding member of Carpenters for Christ, which is a home repair ministry.
Southern Pride is an active member of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, the Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce, and both the Asheville and Hendersonville Home Builders Associations.
